“Prior to founding Bankers Advocate, I owned a manufacturing plant and subsequently, a commercial finance company specializing in Factoring, Trade Financing and Letters of Credit. The experiences I derived while owning these companies are key components in my ability to understand businesses like yours and the problems which confront you on a daily basis. Of course,I made mistakes while owning both and learned some expensive lessons. Hopefully, the lessons I learned will save my clients from making these same mistakes

The only way to truly understand the mechanics of business is to be involved in the day-to-day operations. My experiences in manufacturing, cost containment, lending, credit, collections and cash flow allows me to add meaningful value and insight to any engagement.

I am a 1980 graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology with a BS in Industrial Management.

I am a member of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG), the Secured Lenders of South Florida, the Family Firm Institute and was the founding President of the Turnaround Management Association’s (TMA) Florida Chapter and serve on the TMA’s Executive Board of Directors. I served on the Micro Loan Committee for The Minority & Women Business Enterprise Alliance in Orlando and served the Board of the Palm Beach County Resource Center. I have served on the Board of the GA Tech Alumni Club of Palm Beach.

The Florida Chapter of the Turnaround Management Association received the 2001 Most Improved Chapter award under my leadership. In 2002, I received the Outstanding Individual Contribution Award from the International TMA for my successful “turnaround” of the Florida TMA chapter and my contributions to the turnaround industry in general. Florida TMA was also honored with the Best Chapter Award in 2007.
