I am honored to join the non-profit board of Child & Family Connections. As the lead agency for community-based care in Palm Beach County, Child & Family Connections (CFC) is charged with management of the organization, enhancement, coordination, and oversight of foster care and related services to ensure the safety, well-being and security of its children and families. CFC was established in 2001 as a 501c3 corporation in response to the Florida Legislature’s mandate that child welfare services be privatized (Section 409.1617, Florida Statutes) and is responsible for approximately 1600 children in Palm Beach County.
In addition, CFC and the non-profit board has partnered with Studio E Gallery on PGA Blvd and invites you to help more than 60 local teens in foster care have a happier holiday season at an after-hour benefit on December 16th from 5:30-7:00 PM. Included are seasonal appetizers, a complimentary drink and the opportunity to view and purchase the beautiful artworks on display at Studio E Gallery. Our thanks to our Gold Sponsor, Sam’s Club for supplying the beverages. A 50/50 drawing will be held at 6:55 PM. Admission: $20 at door or bring a $25 gift card from Walmart or Target for the teens.
